Nintendo Switch owners will have to wait or look elsewhere if they want to play two major new releases in February. In separate announcements, Square Enix and Techland shared that they are delaying the Switch version Life is Strange: Remastered Collection and Dying light 2 to after next month. Both games will arrive on time on other platforms as previously planned, and the first should come out February 1 and the latter further February 4.
On Twitter, Square Enix said the Switch version Life is Strange: Remastered Collection will not be ready until later in the year. Dying light 2 faces a similar long delay, as Techland speaks of expects to make the title available on Nintendo ‘s portable console via a cloud streaming client “within six months of the original date.” Obviously, no announcement is great news if you’re planning to play those games on the Switch, but at the very least, you can play them elsewhere.
