Former President Donald Trump, known for his voracious diet TV News will have trouble finding one of its favorite far-right channels, the One America News Network, in a few months.

Satellite TV provider DirecTV, OAN’s largest distributor, said he was leaving the news network on Friday, Bloomberg reported. DirecTV’s decision is a big blow to the OAN, which is not available on any other major American television station donor, but not really juice. OAN basically sued his way to DirecTV 2017 and has since been under heightened surveillance for he spits out lies, promotion conspiracy theories, i incitement to violence.

DirecTV has confirmed that it is leaving the OAN, part of Herring Networks, in a statement to Gizmodo on Friday. In addition to OAN, he also owns Herring Networks a channel for life and entertainment A wealth of fun, or AWE, which is aimed at the ultra rich.

“We have informed Herring Networks that, following a routine internal audit, we do not plan to enter into a new contract when our current contract expires,” a DirecTV spokesman said in an email.

According to Bloomberg, both channels will disappear from the provider’s offer in early April when the contract expires.

DirecTV’s announcement is the latest move in a strange and dubious saga between AT&T and the UN. For starters, DirecTV is partly owned by AT&T, which was reportedly provided by Herring Networks buckets of money to create the OAN. Moreover, a Reuters investigation from October last year indicates that Herring Networks could be in serious financial trouble in light of DirecTV’s decision. The network’s lawyer said in 2020 that if DirecTV does not renew the UN contract, “the company will cease operations tomorrow.”

Gizmodo contacted the OAN on Saturday to comment on DirecTV’s decision, but did not hear a response until the announcement. We will update this article if anyone contacts us.

When April comes, the OAN will be hard to find on TV. He never picked it up the other three main service providers in the USA: Comcast, Charter Communications, or Dish Network. On his own Web page, OAN tells viewers that they can watch on KlowdTV for $ 4.99 or $ 9.99 per month, as well as on Verizon FiOS, CenturyLink PRISM, GCI and Vidgo.

Other than Verizon FiOS, I’ve never heard of other service providers and I probably would have thought they were spam or full of malware if I hadn’t written this article. (If it’s not spam or malware, my apologies).

Media Matters, Progressive USA media research and information center, Gizmodo said in a statement made by DirecTV responsible the decision to abandon the UN, calling the network a “boiler of disinformation and extremism.”

“Now that OAN’s major distributor has rejected them, Verizon FiOS (OAN’s second major distributor) should follow their example,” Media Matters President Angelo Carusone said. “And surely no other cable provider should take them over.”

Gizmodo contacted Verizon to ask about the future of OAN on Verizon FiOS, but has not yet received an answer.
