Not to be outdone (and , for that matter), Disney’s Hulu released a summary for the end of the year. Called “”, With the help of the tool you can find out how many movies and TV episodes you watched in 2021, as well as which were your favorite genres in the last 12 months. As part of the experience, Hulu will also generate recommendations for current and upcoming content that is similar to the things you watched recently.
It’s no surprise to see the company offering a year-end summary. If social media is any indication, Spotify has had huge success with Wrapped. Every year, Spotify users seem to gather on Twitter and Facebook to share their annual chronicles. At the same time, you can often see how those who use Apple Music and other platforms regret that their chosen music streaming service doesn’t offer something similar. Hulu obviously wants to replicate some of Spotify’s successes with the Your TV DNA experience by allowing people to share their “streaming persons” on social media.
