If you’re using the Humble Bundle and using a Mac or Linux computer, you may want to download all the games you can with the Trove service before the end of the month. As of February 1, versions of Mac and Linux games in Humble Trove will no longer be available. Humble Trove is a catalog with over 70 DRM-free games that you can access, provided you have a Choice subscription. A few days ago, Humble announced to simplify the subscription service by offering one monthly plan of $ 12 that gives you permanent copies of all games for that month.
In addition to getting access to Trove, you’ll also be able to play the Humble Games Collection with a more modern collection of titles starting in February if you subscribe. However, to be able to access the games in Humble Trove and Collection, you will need to download a new service application. This new app is for Windows only, omitting you completely in case you are a Mac or Linux user. Humble has already begun sending email to users, reminding them that they can download games until January 31 only if they are not on Windows. The email also says that Windows versions of all available games will continue to be available.
