More countries require passengers to have intensified injections

An increasing number of nations – and one state – are enacting rules that encourage or require travelers to receive a supplementary vaccine, Forbes reported.

Hawaii Governor David Ige says visitors who received the third dose of the vaccine will be able to bypass the five-day quarantine without showing a negative test before the trip, Forbes reported. Ige said the change would be announced soon.

Currently, Hawaii says people who are fully vaccinated – have two doses of mRNA vaccine or one dose of another vaccine such as Johnson & Johnson – can bypass quarantine without a test before traveling.

The European Commission decided last month that travelers who have been fully vaccinated more than nine months before traveling to Europe cannot move between EU countries without proof of a supplementary vaccine. The change takes effect on February 1st.

“EU digital COVID certification has become a global standard. Reflecting the latest scientific knowledge on amplifiers, certification remains a key tool in combating the various waves of the pandemic, ”said EU Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Breton. news.

Some EU countries are already adapting their own vaccination rules.

In France, visitors do not need aids to enter the country, but to get a French vaccine pass, which is needed for dinner at restaurants or visiting attractions, visitors must prove they received reinforcements within seven months of full vaccination. That framework will be reduced to four months on February 14, Forbes reported.

In the Netherlands, reinforced passengers can avoid a 10-day quarantine when they arrive, effective from 2 February. If people from the United States are fully vaccinated, they must still be quarantined for 10 days unless they show a negative test result on the fifth day or have an exemption. Unvaccinated passengers must also be quarantined for 10 days.

In Spain, visitors from the United States will have to show evidence of an intensified injection 14 days before arrival, Forbes reported.

In Israel, visitors cannot enter enclosed spaces if more than six months have passed since they received the second dose of mRNA vaccine or have recovered from COVID.

Forbes said some cruise lines would require passengers to show evidence of an intensified impact. Viking Cruises will begin politics on February 1, and Silversea Cruises, Azamara and Lindblad Expeditions will begin March 1. Specializing in Alaska UnCruise Adventures will require amplifiers starting Feb. 5.

The American Centers for Disease Control and Protection say only 41.5% of vaccinated Americans received an incentive.
