Every year, Apple hosts several product launch events to announce new devices, and 2022 will be no different. According to Bloomberg, the company’s first such event will be “on or near” on March 8, which follows — Apple usually announces new devices in the spring, and its events are usually on Tuesdays. March 8 is technically not spring, but spring is enough, and so is Tuesday.

So what’s in store on March 8 or some other date besides that? It is rumored that Apple plans to release its updated version popular iPhone SE (cheapest iPhone available for purchase) with 5G connection. The refurbished iPad Air is also reportedly on deck, as is the new Mac.

Introducing the iPhone SE would be especially interesting. Apple hasn’t updated the $ 399 SE, which is the only iPhone on offer with Touch ID, for two years. According to Bloomberg, Apple adds 5G, a faster processor and a better camera to the phone, but retains its outdated design (which some prefer from iPhones with almost edge-to-edge screens and face recognition).

Apple’s mid-market iPad Air is also expected to get new specs with a 5G modem and a faster processor. The $ 599 Air was last updated in the fall of 2020 with a redesign like the iPad Pro, and when Then I examined him, I said it was the best iPad for most people. That remains true, though The Pro has since received a big boost and Recent redesign of iPad Mini makes it more appealing to people who want a tablet that is not trying to be a replacement for a laptop.

Apple is in the process of switching all of its Macs from Intel to Apple Silicon, and according to Bloomberg, one of those Macs could take the stage at an event in March.

The company is also expected to introduce major updates for iOS 15 and macOS Monterey that allow you to unlock iPhone with a mask and seamlessly use a Mac with an iPad controlled by just one mouse, keyboard or trackpad.

Apple has not yet announced the event, so it remains to be seen whether the product launch – which is expected to be streamed online rather than in person – will take place on March 8th. But the odds are pretty good that the company has plenty of products in store this year, and that we’ll see the first of these new devices very soon.
